Chir Chir 치르치르, the famous fried chicken restaurant from Korea is finally here in Australia
Originating from Seoul, the Chir Chir (pronounced Chi-Re Chi-Re) chain is South Korea’s largest chain of restaurants, known for its signature freshly-cooked Korean chicken dishes. The chain’s focus on great taste, value and service has allowed it to grow into one of the largest “Chimaek” franchises in South Korea with over 100 stores and new store openings in China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Indonesia.
Chir Chir’s success in Korea is largely attributed to its unique menu. It constantly strives to bring something new to the table, especially for customers who have grown accustomed to the taste of typical Korean chicken and is now ready for a great tasting twist to the chicken craze.
What is “Chimaek”?
The culture of “Chimaek”, generally enjoyed by the younger generation, represents the fun and popular combination of fried chicken and cold beer. This casual dining combination is so popular that a new word has been created to describe it: Chimaek(치맥 in Korean), chi from chicken(치킨)and maek from maekju (맥주 beer).
Now Australian can enjoy the Chimaek culture, Chir Chir-style!
